Triangulation exhibit this Friday, 11/16

My photography will be on view this Friday, November 16th at the Co-Prosperity Sphere in Chicago’s Bridgeport neighborhood.

The exhibit, called Triangulation, uses the geometric concept to connect similar works by different artists and displays them in groups of threes. My work will be on display with pieces by Ryan Peter Miller and Marco Rosichelli.

Below are details for Friday’s opening reception, including all participating artists. For more background on the show’s concept, head to the Co-Prosperity Sphere’s website.

Artist website

“In Cats Green, Brody Condon layers two 20th c. visual references, 1970`s sci-fi illustration and the early avant-garde abstraction of Malevich. Combining the two divergent visual styles, Condon offers a simple critique of idealized notions of the future which present parallel utopic narratives.” –

Photo contest

Arturo Evening, 2011

I’ve entered three of my photos in Fine Art America’s National TV Photo Contest. The odds are tough, but I’d be grateful if you’d throw some votes my way! The winner gets one of their photos along with their name featured on a nationally televised commercial.

The three photos I have entered are Wait (pictured above), as well as All 1 and Resonance (see below).

The contest only runs for another week, until May 31st, so please vote today! It’ll only take a few seconds. You can vote for each photo once, so please vote for all three!

Here are the links to cast your votes:

If you have a chance, please forward this post along to friends/family – every vote counts! Thanks!
